Ixora dried flower petals and clear glass chips in resin LED bedside lamp

Solid resin pyramid with embedded real dried ixora flower petals and clear glass chips. Ixora is also known as West Indian Jasmine.

I dried real red ixora flower heads last year and they dry so well and are very suited to be inlaid in resin. I've used individual flower petals here. I've also added clear glass chips to the resin pyramid. The flowers and glass are embedded in a pyramid of solid resin and the cube then sits atop a square LED light set in a birch base. The cord has a separate on/off switch and plugs into a USB port.

The LED light base is 10cm square. Height of the lamp is 8cm.

Each lamp is a one-off item. I may make more of these lamps as I have some more dried ixora flowers but I have lots more ideas before I get back to this particular design again!
