Large cement pebble shaped tealight candle holder

Handmade eco-stone tealight holder with an organic shape like a river pebble, with an incredible texture, making it look and feel like natural rock. I hand-cast each piece in my studio in Buderim using an eco-stone material, then use an etching process to reveal the speckles and sand-like texture of the material. The tealight holder is finished with a cement sealer and is ready to use.

Eco-stone is water-based acrylic liquid and a blended micro-concrete containing fine decorative stone aggregates and powdered pigments. The etching process exposes the fine stone aggregates, resulting in a rough, granular texture that feels exactly like natural sand, granite, or aged sandstone. It is considered a low-impact, sustainable alternative to concrete or cement, and it’s also great fun and very satisfying to work with!
