Peony Resin Centrepiece with strawflowers

Table centrepiece with a large peony as the feature. I dried the peony in silica gel which allows the flower to retain its shape and colour, and added some lovely pink strawflowers that I found at the Queen Vic Markets in Melbourne.

I used a mould to make this piece, it has glass chips as the base, and clear resin holding it all together! To protect your table, the piece has four rubber 'feet' on the underside.

The piece is 23cm (9.1 in) diameter, 2cm in height and would look great as a table centrepiece with a candle or vase of flowers to show it off! It could also be used in the bathroom as a display piece, or even as wall art!
